It was my friend Nicks turn to go aloft to retrieve a released headsail halyard - actually is was more my turn to do the winching to get him aloft as he had put me up the mast twice to replace the masthead wind instrument which has been destroyed by an eagle. A bit of effort is needed to hoist to the masthead!
Nick took a camera, we were under sail in the lee of Cape York so for a change the wave action was minimal. My kids will surely comment that I should have put shorts on rather than tropical Sulu!
