07/04/2007: "His first leap over fear"
Our littlest crewmember has just made his first real leap over obvious fear. At five, Fletcher was excited to see the rest of the family (except Catherine) leap off the cliff at the Royal Exploring Isles Yacht Squadron jetty. He wanted his test. We offered the jetty as an option, never in a moment thinking he would do it. He stood, he talked, he pondered and then he leapt. Then there was no stopping him. He has started the leaps that we all take when faced with a fear.
