09/18/2007: "Happy 50th Nigel"

The week before Musket Cove regatta had been put aside for a 'boys week'. Basically a reason to chase wind and waves so that Catherine and the kids could have a break from the boat and not have to stay aboard and take pictures of us! The illustrator of 'Multihull Seamanship', Nigel Allison, came across from Mallacoota in Australia and the two of us played - tow in kiteboard surfing at Wilkes, snorkelling, beach volleyball, the odd beer and movie aboard (amazing how quiet it is without the kids) and, of course, the real reason - some serious kitesurfing. The wind obliged well for one day, with a few days tantalizinlgy close. The pic is of Nigel carving a turn in front of Chaotic Harmony at the sand cay off Malolo LaiLai island. Nigel turned 50 during the week and we hope the next 50 are just as much fun!
