08/23/2007: "Nice couple a' rocks"

Catherine has a hidden interest in geology. These pink granite rocks did not manage to score a place on Chaotic Harmony despite some intense beach discussion. The odd shell I can cope with. Two big heavy rocks on a performance catamaran I think not. Successful cruising as a family requires a bit of give and take on all sides. For ten weeks we have been away for the mainland Fiji and the five aboard Chaotic Harmony have been with one another continuously and for the most part successfully. We are now in a rhythm and it will be interesting to see how we cope when back in the the mainstream with other yachties, other kids. I am not sure who to thank for the partner I managed to choose in life but I often feel I should thank someone. Catherine is a wonderful mate, sailor, adventurer and mother.
