Easting, forever easting.
There has been an hiatus in the blog as Chaotic Harmony has left Savusavu and has been heading east, again to windward. We departed in fair winds but the seas were rough so rather than bash to windward we crossed to the Island of Koro, 35 miles sou’east of Savusavu. Here we anchored for three days, the stay made most enjoyable by the company of the New Zealand catamaran ISIS. When the first reasonable weather change occurred Chaotic Harmony sailed north east to Somosomo passage anchoring and Taveuni and the next night a short hop to Matagi. The picture above is taken after a hike though jungle to the cliffs overlooking Horseshoe Bay at Matagi. A magic anchorage. The Namibian catamaran Cheers joined us for a few days and our fun time together was spent in cruising bliss – snorkeling, beach BBQ’s, exploring and the odd tropical rum punch.
